As part of the Newburyport Arts Collective's spooky slate of Halloween events, the NBPT Docu Fest is chilled to the bone to show DOC OF THE DEAD, a film about zombie culture that premiered some years ago on Epix (and has rarely been seen since).

While gathering material for a segment on THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, comedy writer Steve Young stumbled onto a few vintage records that would change his life forever. BATHTUBS OVER BROADWAY follows Steve on his quest to find all he can about this hidden world. Along the way, Steve forms unlikely friendships and discovers that this discarded musical genre starring tractors and bathtubs was bigger than Broadway.

It’s the 10th Anniversary of the Earth Port Film Festival! The 2024 Festival continues to feature short films that tell engaging and inspiring stories of people in communities around the world impacted by and taking action to address the environmental challenges facing the Earth today.

Celebrating their 20th year, the Newburyport Documentary Film Festival is pleased to partner with the City of Newburyport Resiliency Committee to present an evening of films that address the climate crisis as it affects our community.
