This event coincides with the announcement of NATIONAL COMPASSIONATE LEADERSHIP WEEK – the brainchild of Tramuto and his TramutoPorter Foundation. National Compassionate Leadership Week celebrates compassionate leaders by bringing attention to the proven benefits of compassionate leadership through use of empathy in action to garner the greatest impact. It shows through their own example that it is possible to be compassionate and deliver strong results at the same time. In fact, leading with compassion produces stronger results whether it be in business, education, politics or in our own families and communities.
ABOUT THE BOOK
‘The Double Bottom Line’ shares original research fielded among 1,500 US workers, and in-depth interviews with 40 successful leaders who practice compassionate leadership. Tramuto’s research exposed a compassionate leadership gap — leaders express support for compassionate practices, but most workers don’t perceive their leaders to be practicing compassionate leadership adequately, if at all. Tramuto puts forth proven strategies to close that compassionate leadership gap and drive results. Filled with inspiring stories and actionable examples from successful high-profile employers, ‘The Double Bottom Line’ defines a new model of leadership and examines how to cultivate more compassionate people. The book has been on Amazon’s best seller list and has been featured in numerous Amazon categories as a top 100 best seller.
