SUMMARY:Tiger Saw & Soggy Po Boys
DESCRIPTION:$15/All Tickets \nPurchase Tickets\n\nThe ever-changing collective Tiger Saw was founded by singer/songwriter Dylan Metrano in Newburyport\, Massachusetts in 1999. Over seven albums\, they’ve explored a beautiful\, hushed\, slow-core sound; indie pop sing-alongs; “basement soul”; and heartfelt Americana. Their most recent release\, “Wet & Unlucky” is an album-length collaboration with the Arkansas based country band Dylan Earl and the Reasons Why. The band\, now including Newburyport’s Alan Bull on drums\, is excited to return to the Firehouse stage for the first time in ten years. Expect a catalogue-spanning set of classics\, new songs\, and some surprises. \n\nThe Po Boys formed in 2012 to shake the walls of a local club on a Fat Tuesday but have honed their sound and become more than a Mardi Gras centerpiece. Exploring the vast musical traditions of New Orleans and expanding their repertoire to look beyond NOLA jazz\, the band includes traditional Caribbean tunes (it’s been said that New Orleans is the northernmost city in the Caribbean)\, as well as Meters funk\, soul\, and brass band/street beat music.\n\n \nPurchase Tickets
