SUMMARY:Godspell - A Drive-In Musical Theater Experience
DESCRIPTION:Tickets: $35/car\n*Firehouse members receive a 10% discount\n*Space is limited. Reservations MUST be made in advance* \n“DOORS” OPEN AT 5:45PM \nPurchase Tickets\n\nPresented by the Institution for Savings and in partnership with The Wandering Stage\, Firehouse Center for the Arts is thrilled to present the Stephen Schwartz classic – Godspell. The live musical theater experience will be presented “drive-in” style with audience members enjoying the production from the comfort of their own vehicle and the show being broadcast straight to their radios. Due to the recent update in guidance\, all audiences members must remain in their vehicles throughout the performance. \nGodspell was the first major musical theatre offering from three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner\, Stephen Schwartz (Wicked\, Pippin\, Children of Eden); and it took the world by storm. Led by the international hit\, “Day by Day\,” Godspell features a parade of beloved songs\, including “Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord\,” “Learn Your Lessons Well\,” “All for the Best\,” “All Good Gifts\,” “Turn Back\, O Man” and “By My Side.” \n>A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games\, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs\, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville\, is employed as the story of Jesus’ life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion\, Jesus’ messages of kindness\, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life. \nBoasting a score with chart-topping songs\, a book by a visionary playwright (John-Michael Tebelak) and a feature film\, Godspell is a sensation that continues to touch audiences. \nPurchase Tickets\n\n

SUMMARY:Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
DESCRIPTION:Suggested Donation of $25/car\n*Space is limited. Reservations MUST be made in advance* \n“DOORS” OPEN AT 6:45PM \nPurchase Tickets\n\nJoin us at historic Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm for a Firehouse on the Farm film presentation. \nHarry Potter is having a tough time with his relatives (yet again). He runs away after using magic to inflate Uncle Vernon’s sister Marge\, who was being offensive towards Harry’s parents. Initially scared for using magic outside the school\, he is pleasantly surprised that he won’t be penalized after all. However\, he soon learns that a dangerous criminal and Voldemort’s trusted aide Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban Prison and wants to kill Harry to avenge the Dark Lord. To worsen the conditions for Harry\, vile creatures called Dementors are appointed to guard the school gates and inexplicably happen to have the most horrible effect on him. SUMMARY:Green Day's American Idiot - A Drive-In Musical Theater Experience
DESCRIPTION:Tickets: $35/car\n*Firehouse members receive a 10% discount\n*Space is limited. Reservations MUST be made in advance* \n“DOORS” OPEN AT 5:45PM \nPurchase Tickets\n\nPresented in partnership with Historic New England\, Firehouse Center for the Arts is thrilled to present Green Day’s American Idiot. The live musical theater experience will be presented “drive-in” style with audience members enjoying the production from the comfort of their own vehicle and the show being broadcast straight to their radios. Due to the recent update in guidance\, all audiences members must remain in their vehicles throughout the performance. \nThe two-time Tony Award-winning hit musical Green Day’s American Idiot\, based on the Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum album\, boldly takes the American musical where it’s never gone before. This high-octane show includes every song from Green Day’s album\, American Idiot\, as well as several songs from its follow-up release\, 21st Century Breakdown. \nJohnny\, Tunny and Will struggle to find meaning in a post-pandemic world. When the three disgruntled men flee the constraints of their hometown for the thrills of city life\, their paths are quickly estranged when Tunny enters the armed forces\, Will is called back home to attend to familial responsibilities\, and Johnny’s attention becomes divided by a seductive love interest and a hazardous new friendship. An energy-fueled rock opera\, American Idiot\, features little dialogue and instead relies on the lyrics from Green Day’s groundbreaking album to execute the story line. \nPurchase Tickets

SUMMARY:Carrie\, the musical - A LIVE Drive-In Musical Theater Experience
DESCRIPTION:Update re: Carrie  \nWe have just learned that a family member of one of our actors has recently tested positive for COVID-19. While this actor has tested negative\, we have decided to act with caution and care for our audience members\, cast\, band\, and crew by cancelling our two remaining performances of Carrie. While disappointing\, our number one priority is the health and safety of our Firehouse family. 2020 has proven to be our most challenging year to date – both artistically and financially – and we are grateful for the support our community continues to give us during this time.  \nPresented in partnership with Historic New England\, Firehouse Center for the Arts is thrilled to present Carrie\, the Musical. The live musical theater experience will be presented “drive-in” style with audience members enjoying the production from the comfort of their own vehicle and the show being broadcast straight to their radios. Due to the recent update in guidance\, all audiences members must remain in their vehicles throughout the performance. \nCarrie White is a teenage outcast who longs to fit in. At school\, she’s bullied by the popular crowd\, and virtually invisible to everyone else. At home\, she’s dominated by her loving but cruelly controlling mother. What none of them know is that Carrie’s just discovered she’s got a special power\, and if pushed too far\, she’s not afraid to use it. \n  \n \n

Weller Martin is playing solitaire on the porch of a seedy nursing home. Enter Fonsia Dorsey\, a prim\, self-righteous lady. They discover they both dislike the home and enjoy gin rummy\, so they begin to play and to reveal intimate details of their lives. DESCRIPTION:Purchase Full Festival Pass\n\nFull Festival Pass $12 / Single Evening Pass $5\nOver the past 18 years\, more than 200 new works have been performed on the Firehouse stage through our annual Firehouse New Works Festival\, which fosters the growth of New England playwrights while showcasing the talent of local and regional actors and directors.
