Over seven albums\, they’ve explored a beautiful\, hushed\, slow-core sound; indie pop sing-alongs; “basement soul”; and heartfelt Americana. Their most recent release\, “Wet & Unlucky” is an album-length collaboration with the Arkansas based country band Dylan Earl and the Reasons Why. The band\, now including Newburyport’s Alan Bull on drums\, is excited to return to the Firehouse stage for the first time in ten years. Expect a catalogue-spanning set of classics\, new songs\, and some surprises. \n\nThe Po Boys formed in 2012 to shake the walls of a local club on a Fat Tuesday but have honed their sound and become more than a Mardi Gras centerpiece.
