Dancers from Joppa 2\, (middle school)\, up choreograph their own pieces in small groups for performances. This allows each dancer to explore her own vision and style when developing choreography. It’s all about creative freedom and expression.\n \nJoppa groups are formed as follows:\nJoppa Jr. – Grades 4-6\nJoppa 2 – Grades 7&8\nJoppa T2/Teen – Grades 9-12\nJoppa presents annual holiday & spring performances at the Firehouse Center. \nThe company also travels with PAE (Performing Arts Educators) for dance showcases in New York’s Lincoln Center & Carnegie Hall\, and throughout Europe. Joppa has performed in Scotland\, Spain\, Italy and Greece!\n \nJoppa’s spring performance features contemporary\, modern\, jazz\, and ballet techniques.\n
