The “Run for the Roses” has established itself as a quintessential American event. Horse and rider join forces to pit their strength and cunning against the field, giving the rest of us a chance to enjoy a mint julep and place a small wager “to make things interesting.” Now in its third year, the Firehouse Kentucky Derby Party is a great chance to mingle with friends, enjoy culinary treats, watch the race on the big screen, and then try to snag a deal on the Derby auction.
